Invited for a tribute ceremony, Hassan prepares himself to be there on time but his suit and finery bring back memories of the most important moments of his life. Alas, none of the organisers are there to welcome him.

After having lifted the ban on seeing spouses whilst in prison, the management of the prison have set up a cell for conjugal visits. Omar is the first political prisoner in the country a receive his wife. The evening before the visit, Omar and Mourad, his cell companion, tell each other secrets.

Master Class Kostas Seremetis

A moving visual and aural collage consisting of the Star Wars Trilogy,artist Kostas Seremetis edited this 126 minute film, taking the right third of Star Wars, the middle third of Empire Strikes Back and the left third of Return of the Jedi, synchronizing them to dissonant
effect. Every frame is a study in Abstract Expressionist Pop art as this moving collage of the most iconic films of our time moves to the sounds of the three films playing simultaneously. Characters move in and out of portions of the screen, ships and battles appear and disappear melding into one part of the screen from another part while the third portion of the screen portrays a crucial moment of discovery in a character's development.
This invitation-only screening will be preceded by an introduction by the artist and followed by a discussion of the film.

RENCONTRE AVEC MOURADE ZEGUENDI

D’origine marocaine, Mourade Zeguendi est né le 30 octobre 1980 à Saint-Josse, un quartier populaire de Bruxelles.

Comédien depuis 1999, il a participé à de nombreuses pièces de théâtre avant de créer d’abord, en 2001, sa propre compagnie qui s’appellera les Glandeurs et, ensuite, avec l’aide du Théâtre de Galafronnie et Didier Deneck, le comédien produira deux spectacles qui feront la sensation dans le milieu très fermé du théâtre belge : «41 rue de la limite», puis «L’hafa».
Entre le théâtre et les nombreux courts-métrages auxquels il participe, Mourade Zeguendi se voit finalement ouvrir les portes du cinéma grâce à Luc Besson.
La suite est connue, les films « Dikkenek », « Taxi 4 » et « JCVD » finiront par faire de ce jeune marocain la nouvelle star montante du cinéma francophone.
