Soraya is 28 years old when she decides to return to settle in Palestine, where her family was exiled from in 1948 and moved to Brooklyn. Her route crosses that of Emad, a young man who only wants one thing: to leave forever. To win their freedom, Soraya and Emad must take their destiny in their own hands, at the risk of transgressing all the laws.
