Students train in camerawork, production, editing theory and history of cinema and documentary. At the end of the course in order to create their own 3-minute documentaries about the unsung heros, daily changes and ancient rituals that contribute to the vibrancy and energy alive in Tangier today.

FACE-TO-FACE

Whenever possible we offer previews, career retrospectives and Q&A sessions with directors and others directly involved with the films presented in our programs.

Special guests (artists, filmmakers, writers, critics, and festival directors and programmers) are be invited to host special Carte Blanche programs of films which they select, program and present.

Additionally, the CDT uses the Rif to host live theater, readings and forums on subjects related to the world of the cinema. Most recently the Rif was home to round-tables, screenings and a play during the Salon International du Livre de Tanger.
