Henia will stop at nothing to mend her broken past and find her mother, who she became separated from at the Black March in 1975, during the conflict between Morocco and Algeria. After agreeing to assist an elderly blind man, she eventually accepts his offer of marriage. For Henia, this is a chance to obtain the documents she needs to return to Algeria. For the old man, it is a chance to start over again. For his son, it is a disgrace.
